The 2020 BET Hip Hop Awards took place on Tuesday evening, honouring the best in hip hop across 17 categories.

Megan Thee Stallion walked away as the big winner of the night, scooping three of the eight awards she had been nominated for including Hip Hop Artist of the Year.

"HipHop Artist of the year, Hustler of the year, Best collaboration. LETS GO HOTTIES REAL MF HOTGIRL SHIT," the rapper wrote, celebrating her wins on Instagram.

Other winners on the night included Beyonce, for her verse on the Savage Remix, Travis Scott, for Best Liver Performer, and Roddy Ricch for Hip Hop album of the year.
