  • Taylor Swift has released a folklore film exclusively on Disney+.
  • The movie, titled Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions, includes footage of Taylor and her album collaborators getting together in the same space for the first time since the album was made.
  • "It was an amazing experience getting to really jump into the album with the people that I made it with," Taylor said on Instagram.

Taylor Swift announced that she would be releasing a folklore film exclusively on Disney+.

The singer, who has been nominated for six Grammys, released her folklore, her eighth studio album, in July this year.

"Well it's 11/24 and 24-11=13 so I've got an announcement," Taylor tweeted on Tuesday.

"You haven't seen this film before," she continued, before revealing the films name -- Folklore: The Long Pond Studio Sessions.

According to Variety, the movie was filmed in September 2020 when Taylor, and her folklore album collaborators Aaron Dessner, Jack Antonoff and Justin Vernon, were able to come together for the first time in the same space to chat about the project and lay some songs off of it.

"folklore was an album that was made completely in isolation," Taylor said in a video posted on her Instagram stories, adding that it meant she was not able to be in the same space with her collaborators during the creation process.

"It was an amazing experience getting to really jump into the album with the people that I made it with," she went on to say.
