
Lily Cornell Silver, daughter of the late musician Chris Cornell, gave her first public performance at the MoPOP Founders Award ceremony.
According to Variety, the 20-year-old paid tribute to the event's honourees, Alice in Chains, with a version of their track Black Gives Way to Blue.
In a statement shared by the publication, Lily said she was "so very honored and excited to be a part of this year's Founders Awards honoring Alice in Chains and benefitting the Museum of Pop Culture."
She added: "These guys are, and always have been, my family, and I feel so lucky to be honouring them alongside so many amazing artists. I'm singing a song that is super meaningful to me."
Chris Cornell, who fronted Soundgarden and Audioslave, died in 2017. His death was ruled a suicide.
Lily is Chris' oldest daughter.
