Whitney Houston's I Will Always Love You has joined the 1 billion views club on YouTube.

The track was originally recorded by Dolly Parton in the 70s. While there are a few renditions, Whitney's version catapulted the song into the limelight when it was released in 1992 as part of the soundtrack for the film The Bodyguard.

Now, the video for the song has officially hit 1 billion views, becoming the first 90s track performed by a solo artist to do so, according to Billboard.

Other 90s hits to achieve the feat include The Cranberries' Zombies, Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit, and Guns N' Roses November Rain.
