Orphan Black star Tatiana Maslany stars opposite Matthew Rhys in the HBO series Perry Mason. In this origin story, Matthew plays the famous defence lawyer Perry Mason of the 1960s TV series.

Set in Los Angeles in 1932, Perry must solve a case involving the kidnapping and murder of a baby boy, and is drawn into the dark and seedy underbelly of Los Angeles and a much bigger conspiracy set a century ago. Tatiana plays firebrand preacher Sister Alice, the leader of the Radiant Assembly of God, who rallies her congregation to support the defendant in Perry's case.

In this Q&A Tatiana tells us what drew her to the role, how she prepared for it and shares her highlight on set. Perry Mason airs Tuesdays at 22:00 on M-Net (DStv 101) and is available on Showmax at 23:00.
