South Africa’s premium flavoured beer, Flying Fish took over the Sunday Roast in Braamfontein, this weekend, to announce the launch of it’s all new Flavour Chillas campaign. The excitement was palpable as it was announced that Jamaican born International Act, Masgeo, was heading back to South Africa to headline the Ultimate Flavour Chillas experience on Workers’ Day, a public holiday, 1 May, in Johannesburg.
The Flavour Chillas campaign is giving South Africans all the tips and tricks they need to host festivals in their own backyards. They have partnered with the most flavoursome festival experts who will be sharing their expertise and giving away weekly prizes, so that you don’t need to feel any FOMO if you’re missing out on all the festivals happening around the country.
The festival is hosted by the entertainer, Sphaka of Microwave Boys and the crew is made up of Styling Life’s foodie, Bianca, mixologist, Mmisology, the stylist, Lola, instagrammer and Vuzu presenter, Anele and DJ Uncle Party Time. The flavour crew will be serving content and prizes via a unique cellphone number on WhatsApp.
The flavoursome themed launch was attended by media, bloggers, creatives and cultural curators, all excited to host their very own Flavour Chillas events in their own backyards.
Guests at the Flying Fish Flavour Chillas event announcement were given a surprise taste of what to expect at the 1 May experience.
Masego will be joined by the most flavoursome local artists to be announced in the lead up to the event.
As has come to be expected of Flying Fish experiences, the Ultimate Flavour Chillas will see local talent curating never seen before experiences in the various festival flavours of music, fashion, photography, food, art and culture.
