Cape Town – On Sunday Idols SA paid tribute to former contestant Thami Shobede in a moving episode.
The 31-year-old - who was the runner up of season 12 - died on Thursday after a long illness.

Executive producer and host ProVerb said, "we will all continue to be inspired by his music."
This week the theme for the show was Inspirational hits - songs that make you want to take stand up and take a stand. The Tshwane Gospel Choir accompanied the contestants.
The show kicked off with the top 10 performing Nothing Without You with guest performer Dr Tumi.
