Los Angeles  - Nathalie Emmanuel has dropped some hints about season six of Game of Thrones.

The former Hollyoaks actress currently stars as Missandei on the HBO fantasy series and revealed that fans can look forward to some more of their favourite characters meeting after last year's interactions between Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) and Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage).

Speaking in V Festival's Virgin Media Louder Lounge over the weekend, she said: "I guess this season definitely has a lot of momentum, you feel that from the beginning.

"I think the fans are going to suddenly be seeing even more characters... interacting with characters they haven't seen them interact with before."

"We had a bit of that in the last season, but it kicks up a bit more this season so it's pretty exciting.''

Nathalie also revealed that Dinklage is one of her favourite actors.

She told Digital Spy: "He is incredible and such a nice man, he's so, so sweet and so much fun. It's an absolute pleasure working with him.

"You have your favourites on the show - I was a fan from the beginning and it was definitely him and Daenerys as my favourite characters. So to bring those two people together, that's really exciting."
