Cape Town – There's a Charmed reunion coming soon, well, kind of.

On Monday ABC announced that Holly Marie Combs and Alyssa Milano will play sisters in an episode of Grey's Anatomy season 16.

Holly and Alyssa played sisters Phoebe and Piper Halliwell in the original Charmed series which ran for eight seasons.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the pair will guest star as sisters of a Grey Sloan patient who is brain dead after falling at a construction site. They must decide whether to keep their sister alive.

The official Grey's Anatomy account posted a picture of the actresses in character with the caption: "We're excited to have the charmed ones @Alyssa_Milano and @H_Combs guest-starring on #GreysAnatomy! #CastFromThePast"

There will also be an off-screen reunion executive producers Krista Vernoff, and Andy Reaser also worked on Charmed.

Holly shared a photo of the four of them on Instagram with the caption: "Reunited. And we couldn't be happier. @kristavernoff @andyreaser well there were some tears just some. @greysabc #CastFromThePast"
