The Netflix African original How To Ruin Christmas has been renewed for a second season. That's right, the Twalas and the Sellos will return with more drama, laughs, tears and all-around festive joy.

Created by the Ramaphakela siblings (Seriously Single), How to Ruin Christmas: The Wedding followed Tumi Sello (Busisiwe Lurayi), the family rebel who ruined her younger sister Beauty Sello's (Thando Thabethe) Christmas wedding.

The first season ended on a cliffhanger with one very important question that needs to be answered: "What exactly does Khaya (Yonda Thomas) have to tell Tumi?"

"It's great to know that when Netflix said 'Made by Africans, Watched by the World', they meant it. That ethos has given us the opportunity to create authentically South African characters that we can relate to and tell stories that reflect our realities," said the Ramaphakela siblings in a statement.

"In the first season, we were able to give the world a taste of our customs and traditions when it comes to weddings and how we, as South Africans, celebrate Christmas. More importantly, we were hopefully able to spread some joy and laughter throughout the globe, on the back of the tough year that was 2020."
