Jeannie D is gearing up to explore the African continent for a new travel show that she will host on the Travel Africa Network.

According to a press release, the network aims to reshape the media landscape, leveraging a global audience to reboot the travel and tourism industry throughout SA and Africa. 

Sharing the news on Instagram the former Top Billing presenter wrote: "Travel has always been such an integral part of my growth as a person, I was born to explore and adventure as many parts of the world as possible which is why I'm ecstatically happy to be joining the team at the all new Travel Africa Network!"

She added: "Can't wait for these borders to open up so I can explore this magnificent continent! Hope you enjoy coming along on this next chapter with me!'


The Travel Africa global broadcast TV channel will launch in March 2021 and will deliver content to 135+ million homes and hotels across Europe, Middle East, and North Africa; covering everything from African culture, to gastronomy, the best places to travel and stay, and destination documentaries.

A partnership has been forged with DStv's Spice TV, covering broadcast throughout SA and Africa with an additional 14 Million daily viewers.
