Catherine the Great

With the incomparable Helen Mirren portraying the controversial Russian monarch Catherine the Great, this miniseries is set to be a perfectly detailed piece of storytelling. Towards the end of her tumultuous reign, Catherine’s legacy was marred by scandal and conflict, but Catherine is still praised with being the long-running female ruler in a time when being an empress was no easy feat.
