- Paris Hilton has a new documentary.
- In the trailer, for This Is Paris, the socialite opens up about her childhood trauma.
- The YouTube Original will premiere on 14 September.
"Sorry I am so used to playing a character that it's hard for me to be normal," says Paris Hilton in the trailer for her documentary This Is Paris.
In the two-minute trailer, the 39-year-old also reveals that she suffered a childhood trauma that she has never told anyone about.
"Something happened in my childhood that I've never talked about with anyone. But I couldn't tell you guys, because every time I tried, I would get punished by them."
She goes on to admit that she still gets nightmares.

According to the official description of the documentary directed by Alexandra Dean it will "uncover the hidden past of the international icon," and Paris will confront "the heartbreaking trauma that forged who she is today," reports Entertainment Weekly.
Paris wrote on Twitter that she has never been this open about her life before but that she is finally ready to share her truth.
She also shared a picture with the caption: "This is a Survivor."

The documentary will premiere on 14 September on her YouTube Channel.
