- Netflix has released a first look picture of Emma Corrin in Princess Diana's wedding dress in the fourth season of The Crown.
- Costume designer Amy Roberts used the original design from Elizabeth Emanuel.
- In the upcoming season, Prince Charles' romance with Lady Diana Spencer will take centre stage.
It was one of the most anticipated royal weddings, and now The Crown will be taking viewers back to Prince Charles and Princess Diana's 1981 wedding.
Fans of the show were first given a glimpse of Emma Corrin in the iconic dress in the teaser released in August.
On Saturday the streaming service shared the first look picture of the 24-year-old decked in full wedding regalia with the caption: "A first glimpse of Princess Diana's wedding dress. Emmy award-winning costume designer Amy Roberts wanted to capture the same spirit and style of David & Elizabeth Emanuel's original design, without creating a replica for Emma Corrin."

In the upcoming season, Prince Charles' (Josh O'Connor) romance with Lady Diana will take centre stage.
In an interview with British Vogue, Emma shared the reaction on the set when she walked out in the dress.
"We were filming the scene when you first see her in the wedding dress – I think it was Lancaster House in London – and I had a team of about 10 people helping me put it on, because it's massive. I walked out, and everyone went completely silent. More than anything else I wear in the series, it's so… It's her."
Season 4 premieres on Netflix Sunday, 15 November.
