He was an attractive and successful financier who was extremely wealthy and even better connected. He moved in social circles with presidents and royalty.

But the notoriously mysterious billionaire was hiding a horrifying secret that spanned three decades and included sex trafficking, sexual abuse and a reign of pure terror.

On 10 August 2019, Jeffrey Epstein was found hanging in his jail cell, more than 14 years after police in Palm Beach, Florida first launched an investigation into allegations of sexual abuse against him.
