The Lazy Makoti’s hour-long Christmas special is exactly what you need this holiday season

In an hour-long Christmas special, Mogau Seshoene (better known as The Lazy Makoti) invites viewers into her kitchen to show them how to prepare a hassle-free Christmas meal this festive season.

She is joined in the kitchen by the charismatic Khaya Dlanga who will keep the conversation flowing and will help Mogau show viewers how stress-free cooking a Christmas feast can truly be.

With a pantry stock full of Woolworths ingredients, the duo will prepare a range of easy-to-make dishes that will not only serve as culinary inspiration for the festive season but will also help you spend less time in the kitchen and more time with your loved ones this Christmas.

Mogau Seshoene was born in Turfloop Mankweng township in Limpopo. She is a trained chef and award-winning cookbook author and founded The Lazy Makoti in 2014 after leaving the corporate world to focus on her love for food.

What started as cooking lessons for a friend, who was afraid of being labelled "The Lazy Makoti" (the lazy daughter-in-law) because she couldn’t cook, evolved into a successful business. Mogau perfected her craft by completing a diploma in Culinary Arts from the Chefs Training and Innovation Academy in Pretoria.
