Cape Town – When The Crown returns on Netflix in November the royal family will look a bit different.
In case you missed it, Olivia Colman, Helena Bonham Carter and Tobias Menzies will take over the roles of Queen Elizabeth, Princess Margaret and Prince Philip respectively.
The actors will star as the older versions of the royals in both seasons 3 and four which were filmed back to back.
Season 3 will be set during the years 1964 to 1977.Some of the historical topics covered in the season will include the discovery that Anthony Blunt, the Queen's art advisor was a spy as well as the 1966 Aberfan disaster, in which 144 people were killed in a mining disaster.
Other new cast members include Ben Daniels as Antony Armstrong-Jones (Lord Snowden) Princess Margaret's husband, Josh O'Connor as Prince Charles, Erin Doherty as Princess Anne, Marion Bailey as the Queen Mother and Jason Watkins, who will play Prime Minister Harold Wilson.
In celebration of the return of the show, academy-award winner Olivia Colman features as The Queen on the cover of the latest edition of Entertainment Weekly, which includes new exclusive pictures of the cast on set and in character.

The publication also shared a behind-the-scenes video with the cast about the new season.

During an interview with the magazine, Helen revealed that she once met Princess Margaret.
"She was pretty scary. At one point, she met me at Windsor Castle, and she said, 'You are getting better, aren't you?'" which Helen believes was referring to her acting.
For Olivia taking over the role from Claire Foy "was the worst job in the world" because everyone loves Claire.
To transform into the role of Elizabeth, the 45-year-old tried impressions of Claire which came in handy as season 3 picks up exactly where season 2 ended.
"Maybe it was a stroke of genius that I was doing that," the actress joked with Entertainment Weekly.
The Crown premieres on Netflix on 17 November.
