  • Netflix has finally released the first full trailer for The Crown season 4.
  • The two-minute clip sees Queen Elizabeth and Margaret Thatcher face off and a glimpse of Princess Diana's rocky adjustment into the royal family.
  • The series premieres on the streaming service Sunday, 15 November.

After several teasers, Netflix has finally released the full trailer for the upcoming season of The Crown.

Tensions are set to rise among the members of the royal family, and it looks like the newbies Princess Diana (Emma Corrin) and prime minister Margaret Thatcher (Gillian Anderson) are going to become quite the headache for Queen Elizabeth (Olivia Colman).

Set to a haunting version of The Smith's song How Soon Is Now the clip opens with a tense meeting between Margaret Thatcher and Queen Elizabeth.

"We are the same after all just six months between us," says Margaret to which the queen replies: "Oh, and who is the senior between us?"

"I am, mam," responds Margaret.

Elsewhere Prince Philip (Tobias Menzies) tells Prince Charles (Josh O'Connor) that he will one day be king and that his duty now is to choose a woman that the people will love as a princess and then a queen. Enter Lady Diana Spencer.

What follows is a look at the drama to come within the royal family. Diana tells the queen: "All I want is to be loved, that's what any of us want from you," while Charles asks, "What does one have to do to get some kindness in this family."

The two-minute clip ends on a chilling note with the Queen Mother (Marion Bailey) saying of Diana: "In time she will bend as they all do."

The queen asks: "And if she doesn't bend what then?"

Princess Margaret (Helena Bonham Carter) responds: "She will break."
