Lexi: "We've grown up since the shower scene"

Big Brother Mzansi’s love birds Mandla and Lexi's reality TV series makes its debut tonight.

Talking to The Juice ahead of the big reveal, Lexi explained that fans can look forward to getting a glimpse into their lives and relationship after Big Brother.

"I woke up incredibly early this morning because I'm so excited and nervous at the same time," Lexi said.

She explained that the idea of  Mandla and Lexi (yup, that's the name of the show) came about after people  showed a keen interest in their life after Big Brother.

"People would always ask us on social media if we're still dating, if we're still madly in love, if we're tying the knot," she added.

The reality star says like any couple they go through various challenges, but have grown since Big Brother and want fans to be apart of their journey.

And, don't shoot the messenger but Lexi says there definitely won't be a repeat of the infamous 'shower scene' they both made headlines for. "There definitely won't be any sexual scenes because we've grown up since the shower scene. There will be a bit of everything else though - from drama to moments of craziness and tender moments with our family, viewers will get to see it all," she explained.

The show will also focus on Mandla's music journey and Lexi's dreams of being an actress.

When asked about wedding bells, Lexi says that they're both very much in love but are focusing on their careers for now.

Mandla and Lexi premiers on Mzansi Magic, 161 on 3 March at 7pm.
