HAIR TODAY, GONE TOMORROW-TEMPORARILY ___________________________________________ This is #PostPartumHairLoss It’s my second time experiencing postpartum hair loss and deep down I was hoping it wouldn’t happen again. The first time it happened I was surprised, confused, and my confidence took a back seat. I wasn’t expecting it to happen and I felt like it wasn’t really spoken about. Now it’s happening again and I surprisingly just laughed it off. The great thing about going through this second time around is that I know that it’s temporary and normal. This happens after pregnancy when your hormones start returning to normal levels and usually noticeable around 3-4months postpartum. It’s all part of the journey and happens to lots of women, so you are not alone if this happens to you. There’s a few things you can try do to control the hair loss: Managing stress levels, following a healthy diet, taking care of your hair line, drinking your vitamins etc Ultimately though we have to accept that it’s just part of the journey and temporary. I’m embracing the change so it doesn’t change me. (PS: I tied my hair up to show you properly??) ________________________________________________ #postpartumhairloss #postpartum #3monthspostpartum #loveyourbeautifulbody #bekindtoyourself

Karlien announced the pregnancy in October and told Huisgenoot that although the pregnancy was unplanned, she couldn't be happier about the news and that Elah (2), Daniel and Eliah (5) are looking forward to welcoming another sibling.
