Meet Miss USA 2020, Asya Branch!
The 22-year-old beauty queen, who took home the title of Miss Mississippi USA in October, was crowned Miss USA in a ceremony held on Monday night at Elvis Presley's Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee.
Asya made history when she became the first African American to take the Miss Mississippi USA title, according to People, and has now become the first contestant from her state to win Miss USA.
Miss USA 2019 Cheslie Kryst looked like a dream in a statement yellow gown as she handed over her crown on the night. Miss Universe Zozibini Tunzi, who recently returned home for the Miss South Africa pageant, was also present for Asya's crowning, presenting the beauty queen with her new sash.

A new Miss Teen USA was also crowned on Saturday at Graceland. Ki'ilani Arruda of Kauai, Hawaii, took the title. She became the second Hawaiian to win Miss Teen USA, CNN reports.
