Miss Universe 2019 Zozibini Tunzi has welcomed newly crowned Miss USA Asya Branch into their New York apartment.
Every year it is customary for Miss Universe and Miss USA to share an apartment in Manhattan, New York for the duration of their reign.
It was Miss USA 2019 Cheslie Kryst who welcomed Zozibini last year, and previously, South Africa's Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters roomed with Miss USA 2018, Sarah Rose Sanders.
Zozibini wrote a sweet message for Asya to welcome her home, which read: "Welcome home Asya Miss USA 2020. Love Zozi."
Shortly after moving to New York, Zozibini spoke to Channel24 about her new luxury accommodations saying: "I love looking out my window in my living room and seeing the people go about their day - chasing dreams and chasing deadlines. It is beautiful to watch."
Zozibini relocated to the Big Apple the day after being crowned Miss Universe in Atlanta on 8 December, and at the time she said: "When you leave home, then you leave with the possibility of not returning. When I was on that flight to Atlanta, I don't think that I took in the magnitude of it. Only a few days closer to the pageant I realised that I might not be returning home."
A date for the Miss Universe 2020 pageant has not been announced - for now, Zozibini will have to hold on to her crown just a little while longer.
