Cape Town - Belindé Bella Schreuder is back on home soil after representing South Africa at the Miss Grand International pageant in Venezuela.

Channel24 Pageant has you covered with all the dates, locations as well as the South African representatives for all major pageants.

Although the 23-year-old did not bring home the crown, she was the first South African to advance to the semi-finals in the 7-year history of the pageant.

Venezuela's Valentina Figuera was crowned the 7th Miss Grand International, beating out 59 other candidates.

About the experience, Belindé says: "It was amazing. It was three weeks full of adventures, shoots and lifelong friendships."

"We toured Venezuela and saw some beautiful places. I enjoyed the cable car the most as you could see most of the country from above. It was a breathtaking moment," she says about exploring the country.

Her favourite part of Venezuela is "the people. "It reminded me a lot of home as the people are always happy and so supportive," says the public relations graduate.

She thanks all her fans and supporters for the continued backing, saying: "I knew I wasn't alone on that stage but, instead had the whole of South Africa with me."

Belindé's future looks bright, and following her success at Miss Grand International, she hopes to continue her career as a fashion model and walk the runway at Fashion Week.
