Former Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters landed her first international movie role and shared some behind-the-scenes photos from the set.

Demi-Leigh revealed in February that she had landed a cameo in the upcoming Supergirl film. "I have a teeny, tiny, baby role," she said in an Instagram Story.

According to the South African beauty queen, the film is currently in production in Bolivia.

"6degree set life - I'm so grateful to work with the most incredible, sweet, caring team who make sure I bundle up in between takes. I'm in a movie y'all! How exciting is this, [sic]" Demi-Leigh captioned a photo on Instagram.

In the photo, Demi-Leigh is wrapped up in a fleece robe, while holding onto a warm water bottle.

We don't know much about the 24-year-old's character, but based on photos, she is sporting a darker shade of brown hair for the role.

Former Miss South Africa Tansey Coetzee took to the comments section to congratulate Demi-Leigh, saying: "Super exciting news gorgeous."

The original Supergirl movie was released back in 1984.

According to Deadline, Oren Uziel, the screenwriter behind 22 Jump Street and The Cloverfield Paradox, has signed on to pen the script.

Based on reports, he is the only person currently attached to the project.
