  • Singer Kelly Khumalo spoke candidly about her relationship with ex-boyfriend Chad da Don saying he was "highly insecure."
  • The singer claimed that she ended the relationship, saying: "It was enough."
  • According to the singer she is no longer searching for love.

In an interview with YouTuber MacG, singer Kelly Khumalo said that marrying ex-boyfriend Chad da Don would have been the "worst mistake" of her life.

In the interview, Kelly spoke candidly about her relationship with the rapper and their reported engagement saying: "That would have been the worst mistake of my life. Father, thank you for saving me. Thank God I didn't make that mistake."

"A wise woman always changes her mind," she added.

"I would've been stuck with a man who is highly insecure and who needed a lot of growing up to do. Who needed a lot of healing to do, needed a lot of self-love to do, and that was slowing somehow being transferred to me," she said, when asked why the relationship ended.

Kelly also confirmed that she was the one who ended the relationship, saying "it was enough." "I am not that desperate," she said.

She also confessed that she was no longer searching for love, although "playing around" is "nice." "But that's not where I am," she said.

Chad went public with a new relationship in 2019, and previously his management team told Channel24: "Carlla is a lovely and friendly girl. She studies art and supports Chad in all his endeavours. His current relationship does not affect his relationship with Kelly, nor does it affect her relationship with him."
