  • Sunday World reported that Lorna and politician Floyd Shivambu were awaiting a"bundle of joy".
  • "I'm NOT pregnant it's truly disgusting that people can go on to create stories that are unreal," she tweeted.

TV personality Lorna Maseko responded to reports she is expecting a child with politician Floyd Shivambu.

Sunday World reported that Lorna and Floyd were awaiting their "bundle of joy".

"Let me nip this in the butt real quick! I'm NOT pregnant it's truly disgusting that people can go on to create stories that are unreal - it's actually EVIL!! [sic]" Lorna hit back on Twitter.

"Women suffer with many issues, fibroids (which I have), endometriosis & many others. You don't know people stories-STOP IT!!" she added.

In July, Sunday World reported that Floyd and his wife, Siphesihle Pezi, who he married in 2017, had "parted ways". The article claimed that Floyd and Lorna "were an item," and had been involved in a romantic relationship for two years.

Although Lorna addressed the pregnancy reports, she did not respond to claims of an intimate relationship between herself and Floyd.

Earlier this year, Miss South Africa Sasha-Lee Olivier, found herself the subject of unfounded pregnancy rumours, when City Press reported that she was expecting her first child.

The Miss SA Organisation labelled reports "pure body shaming" and said it would take legal action against the publication.
