  • "Some people aren't talking to me about my own wedding imagine," she captioned the post.

In an Instagram post, Sipho 'Psyfo' Ngwenya's wife Aamirah Mirah spoke openly about the stress of wedding planning, comparing the experience to an "extreme sport".

The couple, who had been dating for over two years, tied the knot on 21 November

Aamirah explained that she reflected on the planning experience after someone asked her how she felt "throughout the process".

"I am not writing this to make anyone feel bad. I'm just sharing feelings that were on my chest," she shared in a post, adding that the people close to her know that she is an "open book".

She wrote that although the signing ceremony was "perfect", it was not as "easy" as it looked on the photos.

According to the post, Aamirah's biggest headache was caused by the guests. They originally had planned for an intimate celebration, but the guest list grew as the weeks went by.

"I didn't understand how some people didn't get that we couldn't have everyone there," she continued.

"Some people aren't talking to me about my own wedding imagine," she captioned the post, followed by several laughing face emojis.

"Happy to have had fights along the way to learn more about myself and the people in my life too. It's never easy but it's always worth it," she added.
