From a chance meeting on the dance floor, to sliding into the DMs - everyone's love story has to start somewhere.
And celebrities are no different.
Here's the story of how these seven local celebrities met their significant other:
1. Clint and Steffi Brink
Actor Clint Brink and his reality star wife, Steffi's love story is one for the digital age.
It was the former Miss Namibia who caught the attention of Clint, who slid into her DMs, writing, "You are gorgeous."
In 2017, the actor shared a screengrab of the conversation on Instagram, and it is super cute.
"By the time I decided to inbox her, I did some mini profile stalking & besides her obvious beauty... saw her heart in her words... it's close to a year of being married and deciding to risk my heart again was the best decision I made in my life," he captioned the post.
After dating for just three months, Clint proposed to his fitness model girlfriend, and one month later they were married.

He said: "Her sister has special needs, so we invited them to Night to Shine in South Africa. We kind of met and started talking through that and haven't stopped."
Hosted across the world, Night to Shine is an initiative created by Tim, which celebrates those with special needs.
Demi-Leigh and Tim recently celebrated their 6-month anniversary, after tying the knot in Cape Town earlier this year.
3. Somizi Mhlongo and Mohale Motaung

In 2019 Somizi re-shared Mohale's Instagram post from the day they met, saying that he knew after the chance-meeting that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Mohale.
"U were number 13 on the line and by the time I signed yo book I knew I'd wanna be with u for a lifetime. Weird I know. But I knew, [sic]" he wrote.
Three years after meeting, the couple is now happily married, and their TV wedding special broke Showmax's viewership records.

4. Bontle Modiselle and Priddy Ugly
In April, choreographer Bontle and rapper husband Priddy Ugly shared their love story, which started in high school.
In a video shared on their joint YouTube account, the couple shared how they met 13 years ago.
"We started off as friends," they began before Priddy Ugly revealed how Bontle made the first move.
"We were friends for like two years from when I was 16. And then at the end of my matric year, a young pretty lady asked me out," the rapper revealed.
"So, I did the right thing and asked him out. And here we are - 10 years later," said Bontle.
The couple married in September 2019 and welcomed their first child together later that year in November.
5. Rolene and D'Niel Strauss
Rolene and her husband D'Niel's love story started before she crowned Miss South Africa 2014, and the couple had to keep their relationship secret during her Miss World reign.
In a YouTube video, Rolene explained that they met while she was out dancing with her best friend, when D'Niel approached her, saying, "You look very intelligent."
She said that it was something "different" and intrigued her because, guys will often compliment a woman on her beauty.
D'Niel was very supportive when she said that she wanted to enter Miss South Africa again, and even helped her complete her entry form, all while knowing they would have to keep their romance under wraps if she was crowned the winner.
Throughout her reign as Miss South Africa 2014, the couple would meet in secret, with D'Niel sometimes posing as her driver so that they could spend extra time together.
The couple got engaged when she was crowned Miss World, but she couldn't wear her engagement ring. Instead, she wore a promise ring to public events as a symbol of her commitment to their relationship.
The brunette beauty earlier this year posted photos on Instagram, writing: "I've never posted these pictures before. This was taken in 2015 during our 'secret' engagement shoot when I visited home to plan the wedding.
"We were secretly engaged for almost six months during my year as Miss World and looking back at these pictures, so much has changed, yet so much stayed the same," she added.
Rolene and D'Niel tied the knot in Cape Town in 2016, and have since become parents to two baby boys.
