Queen of fitness Khabonina Qubeka's shares her advice to beat the festive bulge.
Now, we all know that the festive season is about family, friends and great food. But we also know that our bodies suffer the consequences of an incredible festive season for the rest of the year.
So better listen up, because Khabonina knows what she's talking about. This year alone we've watched her launch two fitness DVDs, launch dance fitness classes across the city and celebrate the birth of her online fitness show.
We're in absolute awe of this woman, who can stand on her head, twerk on her hands and is practically made out of rubber.
Here's her secret ladies:
1. It is holiday time and time to rest. Make sure your rest is an 'active' one with at least a 10 min daily workout.
2. Sure you exercise but you are what you eat especially this festive season. Try and limit sugar, trans-fat, white flour and fizzy drinks
3. Drink lots of water for healthy skin, digestion and to detox.
