Award-winning DJ and mom-to-be Lamiez Holworthy and her siblings, Lushaan and Lariez, are basking in glory after successfully surprising their mother, Imelda Klow, on her birthday.

The three siblings surprised their mother with a new vehicle - a Volkswagen T-Cross R-Line. Klow celebrated her birthday last week.

Taking to social media, Holworthy thanked her mother for all she did for her and her siblings, her sacrifices and her teachings. In another post, she said she owed all she was to her mother.

"THE MATRIARCH – Leader of our tribe, thank you for all that you do for us, for all the sacrifices and all the teachings," she wrote. "My greatest gift that I get from her? Her heart. Anyone whose been fortunate enough to experience her can attest to it."

The DJ previously touched on some of the sacrifices Klow made for her earlier in her career when she dedicated her first two awards from the inaugural Basadi In Music Awards to her in October. Holworthy received awards for DJ of the Year and Music TV Presenter of the Year.

She said:

"I owe both awards to my mother. My mom who believed in me when this was all just a dream, who took money to pay the electricity bill and bought me headphones when I just started out (this meant that my family had to sit in the dark a little longer). My mom who drove me to gigs with my late dad in a security van because we didn't have another car at home at the time. My mom who'd spend her last [money] on printing and wearing T-shirts with my name and logo on it because she believed in me that much."
