- Larsa Pippen is spilling the tea on her friendship with Kim Kardashian that fans noticed first fizzled out when the reality star unfollowed her on social media.
- In a new interview with Hollywood Raw she says Kanye felt "threatened" by her, and forced her out.
- Here we break down those claims, and Larsa tells of her short-lived romance with Tristan Thompson. "10 days later, he started seeing Khloé," she says.
Remember Larsa Pippen? She was married to American basketball player Scottie Pippen, but you've probably spotted her hanging out with the Kardashians.
Of course, you'd have seen a lot less of her in recent months, and 'Lars', as she was affectionately called by the famous family, is spilling to tea as to why.
Appearing on the Hollywood Raw podcast on Monday she revealed Kanye had something to do with the whole family unfollowing her on social media saying he "brainwashed" them, before addressing reports of her romances with Travis Scott and Tristan Thompson.
In her words, we break down Larsa's tell-all interview – and what the Kardashian's had to say about it.
Kanye felt 'threatened' by our friendship
Kim unfollowed Larsa on social media last year, albeit quietly, and Larsa thinks it has something to do with Kanye feeling "threatened".
"I just feel like Kanye was in a place where he, you know, he really didn't trust anyone with Kim," Larsa said. "So, I feel like I was the person that was like, 'Oh, like, don't be so close to her because you're so close to her' that, you know, that kind of had something to do with it."
She added that she doesn't mind it though, if it will save her "best friend" Kim "trouble" with her husband.
"If your husband feels, like, threatened by my relationship with you, then I don't want to be that person," she said. "I've got my own shit. I don't want to be, like, that person. Let him feel really comfortable, really secure if I'm not in the picture and just see what happens."
She said when Kim unfollowed her, she was just like "do what's best for your family" "Like, I love you. You and I are best friends. We've been through everything together. I would never do anything to, like, you know, jeopardise our relationship. We're like sisters. We're family," she said. "But if you have to unfollow me to make your home a better place, then do it, you know?"
I was there for Kanye through all his 'rants'
It wasn't just Kim that unfollowed Larsa. She says the rest of the family did too – and she believes that, too, was Kanye's doing.
She said, though, she used to take his calls "when he wanted to rant", adding she was "his go-to person to call when he wasn't happy with X, Y and Z". When she eventually blocked him – because she "just couldn't bear taking his calls anymore" – he got everyone to ditch her.
"He literally has brainwashed the whole family into thinking that, like, I don't even know what. I don't even know," she said.
I was with Tristan Thompson first but 'I don't even care'
Larsa denied rumours that she was out with Travis Scott at a club recently, but did address her short-lived romance with Tristan Thompson, saying she was actually seeing him before Khloé. "I was seeing him," she said.
"I had him come to LA. I brought him to a party Kim had. I introduced him to all of them. And then a week later, maybe 10 days later, he started seeing Khloé, which is fine. I don't even care."
She added: "I'm the type of person I don't chase what's not for me. I will never chase a man. I will never, like, put a leash on a man. I don't do that. I feel like, let you be great. If you want to be with other people, go ahead. I'm great by myself."
She wished Khloé and Tristan nothing but the best though as they try to make a home for True. "If they love each other, then God bless," she said.
The Kardashians respond
Sources tell E! News that the famous family does not trust Larsa and her intentions, so they're not surprised she spoke out.
"They all think Larsa is toxic energy," one source said.
"They think she's trying to stay relevant and Kim doesn't appreciate the accusations regarding Kanye. The family is very protective over one another, and all feel like she violated their privacy by dishing out details to the public."
