  • Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez reunited in Miami recently after rekindling their romance.
  • The couple dated and even got engaged in the early 2000s, but split before walking down the aisle.
  • Now, sources say they are doing whatever they can to make their relationship work this time around. "They are both excited," an insider adds.

It looks like Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are committed to making their relationship work the second time around.

The famous exes got back together after 17 years apart and enjoyed a week-long getaway together. They've since been spotted together in Miami, though their busy schedules will inevitably get in the way. A source tells E! News, however, the couple "have no problem meeting up wherever" before adding "things are going very well" between the two.

"They are taking it one day at a time, but aren't letting distance be too much of an obstacle," the insider added, with another telling the publication: "Ben has been making the effort to make it work with their schedules. He's really making a huge effort. JLo thinks Ben has really stepped up and loves this version of him."

Sources similarly tell People the two are spending "as much time together as possible" while the Justice League actor is in Miami.

"They will travel back and forth as much as they can to make things work," the source says. "They don't want to hide anymore. They are both excited about their relationship. They want to make sure they do everything they can to make this work. Jennifer is incredibly happy. She feels like she can just be herself around Ben."

Here's hoping second time's a charm for the A-list couple!
