Elliot Page has taken to social media for the first time since coming out as transgender.

The Umbrella Academy actor shared a selfie on Instagram on Sunday accompanied by a heartfelt message to fans.

"From the bottom of my heart, thank you. Your love and support has been the greatest gift," he said. "Stay safe. Be there for each other. If you are able, support @transanta and @translifeline."

He ended off his post with a simple: "See you in 2021, Xoxo Elliot."

The Oscar-nominated actor came out as transgender earlier this month writing in a statement: "Hi friends, I want to share with you that I am trans, my pronouns are he/they and my name is Elliot."

Celebs including Miley Cyrus and Julianne Moore shared their love for the star, while the official Umbrella Academy account wrote: "So proud of our superhero!! WE LOVE YOU ELLIOT!!!"
