Johnny Depp is back in the dating game.

The Pirates of the Caribbean star is reportedly dating one of his former attorneys, Joelle Rich.

Rich is a London-based attorney who was part of his legal team in his 2018 libel lawsuit against British tabloid The Sun – a court battle that Depp lost.

Depp, earlier this year, filed suit against his ex-wife Amber Heard over an op-ed she wrote for The Washington Post in December 2018 in which she described herself as a "public figure representing domestic abuse."

Heard did not name Depp in the piece, but he sued her for implying he was a domestic abuser, seeking $50 million in damages. Heard countersued for $100 million, claiming she suffered "rampant physical violence and abuse."

In June, a jury awarded Depp $10.4 Million after finding that Heard was liable for defaming him in the op-ed. She was awarded $2 million in her countersuit against the actor.

According to E! News, although Rich did not represent Depp during the defamation trial, she was seen supporting him outside the Virginia courthouse on 3 May. She was later seen hugging Camille Vasquez, the attorney who did represent Depp in the US trial.

News24 reported in July that both Depp and Heard have since filed to appeal the June verdicts.

Per People, Rich is married but estranged from her husband and has two children. According to a source, she and Depp "are dating, but it's not serious."
