K-pop singer Yohan, 28, dies

Kim Jeong-hwan known as Yohan, a member of the Korean pop group TST has died. He was 28 years old.

The Guardian reports that the group's record label, KJ Entertainment confirmed the news in a statement.

"We are sad to relay the most unfortunate, sorrowful news. On June 16, TST member Yohan left this world. The late Yohan's family is currently in deep mourning."

The cause of death has not been revealed.

According to The Guardian Yohan joined the music scene in 2013 as a member of NOM (No Other Man) in 2017 he joined TST.

The six-piece group, formerly known as Top Secret, reached the South Korean Top 30 with their EPs Time's Up and Wake Up reports The Wrap.

Their latest single, Countdown was released in January reports E Online.

Yohan is the latest K-pop star to die in recent years. In October 2019 Sulli, a former member of top girl group f(x) died at the age of 25. Her friend Goo Hara died six weeks later.
