Kanye West has returned to Los Angeles to spend some quality time with his family.

The rapper has been residing in Wyoming, where he is working on his music and presidential campaign.

According to People, the 43-year-old missed his four kids whom he shares with Kim Kardashian and flew out to see them.

A source told the publication that "they are all spending the weekend at their Hidden Hills house and catching up as a family."

On Saturday, Kim shared some photos on Instagram of the family's trip to Colorado. In one snap Kim is paddle boarding with her daughter North, and in another, she is pictured with Kanye, her sister Kourtney Kardashian and their friend Harry Hudson.

Kanye and Kim's relationship has gone through a rocky patch these past months with divorce rumours swirling after his emotional rally and tweets attacking his wife.

In July, Kim released a statement in which she asked the public to show compassion and empathy as Kanye struggles to cope with his mental health. Soon thereafter she flew to Wyoming to resolve things with her husband.

Kanye then apologised to Kim on Twitter. He asked her for forgiveness and thanked her for always being there for him.

An insider also told the publication that Kim is still focused on working on her marriage.

"She is pretty quiet about her exact plans for the future, but for now she seems okay with Kanye living in Wyoming. He is moving ahead with the presidential campaign. This is a decision that no one can change his mind about."
