  • Kim and Kanye will be spending Christmas Eve with the rest of the Kardashian-Jenners, but their annual party will be scaled back amid the pandemic.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been spending "a lot of time apart," a source tells E! News.

The couple, who was rumoured to be going through a rough patch earlier this year amid Kanye's battle with his mental health and decision to run for president, are "doing their own thing" as they are "focused on the things that are important to them".

"[Kim] is doing her thing, and [Kanye] is doing his. She doesn't micromanage it or worry about it too much," the insider tells the publication. "She lets him go off and be who he is. It is what it is."

The source adds that "they are still a family and they come together for the kids".

"They will be spending Christmas Eve with the family having a low-key get-together."

The news comes shortly after Khloé shared on Twitter that the Kardashian-Jenners won't be having their annual big Christmas bash this year amid the coronavirus pandemic.

"The Covid cases are getting out of control in CA," she wrote. "So we decided that we're not doing a Christmas Eve party this year. It's the first time we will not be having a Christmas Eve party since 1978, I believe."

She added: "Health and safety first though! Taking this pandemic seriously is a must."
