Cape Town – Newsflash, Kim Kardashian is taking her new studies seriously and she isn't letting anyone think differently.
The reality TV star took to Instagram in a lengthy post in response to trolls who said she should "stay in her lane" after she revealed she is studying to become a lawyer in her cover interview with Vogue magazine.
Alongside a photo of herself and her two law mentors hard at work, Kim wrote: "Last year I registered with the California State Bar to study law. For the next 4 years, a minimum of 18 hours a week is required, I will take written and multiple choice tests monthly."
The 38-year-old went on the share that as her first year of studying draws to an end she is preparing for "the baby bar, a mini version of the bar".
Kim then addressed negative comments she has received since sharing her newest venture, writing: "I’ve seen some comments from people who are saying it’s my privilege or my money that got me here, but that’s not the case…
"I want people to understand that there is nothing that should limit your pursuit of your dreams, and the accomplishment of new goals. You can create your own lanes, just as I am. The state bar doesn’t care who you are. This option is available to anyone who’s state allows it."
Kim further revealed that for anyone who thinks she it taking the easy way out, her study route is far from it.
"My weekends are spent away from my kids while I read and study. I work all day, put my kids to bed and spend my nights studying."
Despite all the bad comments, the reality TV star will not let negativity get the better of her no matter how overwhelming.
Kim concluded her post by giving an update on what she is doing at the moment, writing: "This week I have a big torts essay due on negligence. Wish me luck."
