  • Kendall Jenner hosted a 100-person party over the weekend in honour of her 25th birthday.
  • Many slammed the model, calling it irresponsible amid the ongoing pandemic.
  • Momager Kris Jenner broke her silence on the matter, saying all guests were tested before they entered the party. "We are really responsible," she said.

Kris Jenner is speaking out after Kendall received backlash for throwing a huge birthday bash amid the ongoing pandemic.

According to People, the model, who turns 25 on 3 November, hosted a birthday party on Halloween at Harriet's Rooftop atop 1 Hotel in West Hollywood, California, with 100 guests including boyfriend Devin Booker, as well as Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, Jaden Smith, Hailey Baldwin, Kanye West, Travis Scott, Paris Hilton, Justine Skye, Quavo, Winnie Harlow, Saweetie, Doja Cat, and most of her siblings, of course.

The party drew backlash from fans who called the reality star out for having a big bash amid the health crisis; others also slammed the "no social media" alleging it was enforced so "people wouldn't find out about it".

Now, momager Kris Jenner is speaking out after the famous family's come under fire for the second time in the past week – you'll remember Kim also received backlash for her island getaway for her 40th.

"We live our lives, trying to be just really good people," Kris told Andy Cohen after he asked her how she handles negative comments about her children during an episode of his radio show.

"We're dealing with lots of people that have different opinions, and all we can do is live our lives the best way we know how and be responsible and do the right thing. And we're doing that," she added. "And I think, I am very sensitive to what's going on. Believe me, you know, I've really tried so hard."

Kris said the Kardashian-Jenners "get tested once or twice a week," while filming – and "whenever we have a gathering, no matter how big or small," she said.

"At Kendall's [party], everyone got tested before they walked in the door and they had to wait a half an hour until... the results were in," she said, adding that people were also "tested a few days before" Halloween.

"So we are really responsible," the momager said.
