Chadwick Boseman died at the age of 43 on 28 August 2020.
The Black Panther star lost his battle to cancer after four years, his publicist said at the time, adding: "It was the honour of his career to bring King T'Challa to life."
Now, the actor's co-stars and friends have taken to social media, honouring his legacy on the one-year anniversary of his death.
Sharing a candid photo laughing alongside Chadwick, Lupita Nyong'o wrote: "I did not know that I could miss both his laughter and his silence in equal measure. I do. I do... One year after his passing, the memory of @chadwickboseman remains this alive in me."
Marvel shared a photo of the actor, adding: "Honoring our friend, our inspiration and our King, Chadwick Boseman."
