  • Gwyneth Paltrow celebrated her 48th birthday over the weekend.
  • Thanking everyone for their birthday wishes, she posted on Instagram wearing "nothing but [her] birthday suit".
  • Courteney Cox, Katy Perry and more commented on the post, but it's her daughter Apple Martin's response that's got us in stitches!

Gwyneth Paltrow turned 48 on Sunday and bared it all as she wore "nothing but [her] birthday suit".

The Goop founder took to Instagram to thank everyone for their birthday wishes and praise her company's "insanely amazing brand new body butter" for giving her the confidence to "get [her] kit off".

Standing in what appears to be her backyard, the actor was all smiles – and buck naked – as she posed for the camera.

A few of the star's celebrity friends commented on the post. "Happy Birthday! What a beautiful girl you are and inspiring in so many ways," Courteney Cox wrote.

"HBD GP! Love this low profile way to celebrate," Katy Perry commented, while her Glee costar Matthew Morrison said: "So happy you were born! What an inspired life you've made for yourself. And the GP train keeps going! Love ya, chica!"

Apple Martin also saw the post though, and commented the only way one's 16-year-old daughter possibly would – with a single: "MOM."
