We were right when we suspected Brad Pitt had returned from the early 90s with his golden locks in a ponytail. The Academy Award winner – and his teeny-tiny ponytail – returned to the Oscars stage this year, and honestly, we're not mad about it.
The actor presented the award for Best Supporting Actress at the 93rd Academy Awards on Sunday, after winning the Best Supporting Actor trophy last year for his role in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. He said on Sunday: "My love of movies began at the local drive-in, watching the likes of Clint Eastwood and Godzilla."
After revealing Amanda Seyfried's favourite movie growing up was Romeo + Juliet, starring his Once Upon a Time in Hollywood co-star Leonardo DiCaprio, he joked: "Amanda, me too."
The actor then helped Youn Yuh-jung, who won the award for her performance in Minari, exit the stage. See her sweet speech, and mention of Brad Pitt below, in a gif that will live on on the internet forever! "Mr Brad Pitt, finally. Nice to meet you," Youn Yuh-jung said to the star who was standing off-stage as she accepted her award.
