Ben Affleck was saved by photographers who called the police after spotting a man scaling the wall of his Los Angeles home.

Page Six reports the man was wearing a jacket that said 'security in gold lettering and was seen climbing over the gate of the Batman actor's house at around 08:00.

Photos and videos from the paparazzi show the man fleeing on a bicycle after perusing the perimeter.

A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department told the publication that police responded to the home on Napoli Drive at 08:15 and completed a trespass and investigative report. No one was taken into custody as the intruder had already left when they arrived.
