According to The New York Times, Tom Cruise was furiously lashing out at the crew on the set of Mission: Impossible 7 in Britain.

This after the members reportedly ignored the actor's strict Covid-19 guidelines implemented to keep everyone on set safe.

The production was previously halted due to the pandemic.

"We are creating thousands of jobs," Tom can be heard saying in a leaked audio clip filled with expletives.

"I don’t ever want to see it again! Ever! And if you don’t do it, you're fired!"

The recording was published online by The Sun. Paramount Pictures declined to comment.

Now, George Clooney seems to have responded, sharing how he would've reacted to the situation, reports E! News.

"He didn't overreact because it is a problem," the actor said in an interview with Howard Stern. "I have a friend who's an AD on another TV show who just had the almost exact same thing happen with not quite as far out a response."

He added: "I wouldn't have done it that big. I wouldn't have, you know, pulled people out.

"You're in a position of power and it's tricky, right? You do have a responsibility for everybody else and he's absolutely right about that. And, you know, if the production goes down, a lot of people lose their jobs. People have to understand that and have to be responsible. It's just not my style to, you know, to take everybody to task that way."
