Tyga arrested for alleged domestic violence

According to E! News, rapper Tyga, real name Michael Stevenson, has been arrested following allegations he abused his ex-girlfriend Camaryn Swanson.

This comes after Camaryn on Monday accused the 31-year-old rapper of domestic violence in an Instagram Stories post, alleging she had been "emotionally, mentally and physically abused" "I'm not hiding it anymore," she said. 

E! News reports that the rapper turned himself into the authorities on Tuesday and was booked for felony domestic violence. He was released on $50 000 (around R747 882) bail.

A source told E! News that the rapper is "cooperating fully with the LAPD."
