Brad Pitt surprised the graduating class of 2020 when he shared a special video message to say congrats.

In a video shared on the Missouri State University Twitter account this week, Brad, who moved to Springfield, Missouri with his family when he was young, according to E! News, said: "Hi everyone! Brad here from quarantine, with a shout-out to the graduating class of Missouri State University! Yeah!"

He added: "It must be very strange doing this in these trying times, but know we're rooting for you. Our money's on you to make this world a better place, and we wish you all the best in your future endeavours.

"So, you did it! You made it! Enjoy, congrats again, and think big."

Brad joins many other celebrities who wished the class of 2020 well, including Ryan Reynolds and Tom Hanks.

Mindy Kaling and B.J. Novak also recently hosted a virtual ceremony for all those unable to formally graduate amid the pandemic. Many celebs shared their congratulatory messages while Oprah gave a commencement speech and Miley Cyrus performed her song, The Climb.
