Princess Charlotte joined Prince William and Kate Middleton as they made their way to Birmingham on Tuesday.
It was a solo engagement for the young royal – her brothers, Princes George and Louis, didn't tag along – and she had quite an eventful day visiting SportsAid, but not before excitedly watching a swim meet and the hockey at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
At Arena Birmingham, she later watched the artistic gymnastics competition, with gymnastics just happening to be her favourite sport!
Tim Lawler, the chief executive of SportsAid, later revealed the princess shared her love for the sport, People reports.
"She really, really loved seeing the swimming, but she's interested in the gymnastics, and while they're trying lots of different sports at home, I understand, when I asked her about sport, she answered very easily and said, 'It's gymnastics that I like,'" he recounted.
Kate reportedly confirmed it with her comment: "Charlotte spends most of her time upside-down, doing handstands and cartwheels!"
