Princess Charlene has been reunited with Prince Albert and their twins, Gabriella and Jacques, as she continues to recover in South Africa.

The princess underwent a four-hour operation in August, but has been in the country since May after contracting an ear, nose and throat infection that spurred multiple procedures.

"It's been a trying time for me. I miss my husband and children dearly," she told Channel24.

The principality said following her latest procedure: "The operation went well, Princess Charlene is resting and we are thinking of her with tenderness."

At the time, Channel24 reported Prince Albert and the couple's twins were planning a visit, and it seems the family of four has finally been reunited. The former Olympic swimmer took to Instagram on Wednesday, sharing photos cuddling her son and daughter.

"I am so thrilled to have my family back with me," she captioned the carousel, with a heart emoji.

She also shared: "Gabriella decided to give herself a haircut!!!"

"Sorry my Bella I tried my best to fix it," she wrote.
