- Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's slick new wesbite has just gone live.
- The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced the name of their organisation - Archewell - back in April.
- Their new site explains the name was inspired by the Greek word "Arche" which means "source of action" and "Well" meaning "a plentiful source or supply; a place we go to dig deep".
Archewell.com is live!
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced in April that they'd be launching their new website "when the time is right" as the world bunkered down amid the pandemic.
They did, however, reveal the name Archewell, and that it came to be even before SussexRoyal, which they gave up when they stepped down from royal duties.
"We connected to this concept for the charitable organisation we hoped to build one day, and it became the inspiration for our son's name," they said at the time. "To do something of meaning, to do something that matters. Archewell is a name that combines an ancient word for strength and action, and another that evokes the deep resources we each must draw upon."
Now, though their site has gone live and simply allows users to sign up to receive emails for the time being, they once again explain the inspiring meaning behind the name.
"Archewell," is capitalised on the top of their website with the words "Arche" and "Well" and their meanings written below.
