Prince William welcomes Harry to the 'sleep deprivation society'

Cape Town – Prince William and his wife Kate can't wait to meet their new nephew.

Meghan and Prince Harry welcomed their first child on Monday, 6 May. The couple are expected to share the first glimpse, as well as reveal their newborn son's name on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, William and Kate attended the launch of the King's Cup Regatta in London and expressed their well-wishes for the new parents.

"We're absolutely thrilled and looking forward to seeing him in the next few days when he's quietened down," William told reporters.

The dad-of-three then proudly announced: "I'm very pleased to welcome my own brother to the sleep deprivation society that is parenting!"


Kate also shared well wishes, saying: "We look forward to meeting him and finding out what his name is going to be. It's really exciting for the both of them and I wish them all the best"

Granny and Grandpa, Camilla and Prince Charles also shared their well wishes on Tuesday, after arriving in Berlin for a four-day tour of Germany.

Alongside photos of themselves and Meghan and Harry shared on their official Twitter account, Clarence House wrote: "We couldn’t be more delighted at the news and we’re looking forward to meeting the baby when we return."
